Since I was a young girl, I had always wanted to work with children who needed a little extra help with their development. As I grew, the passion never wavered. Eventually, I worked my way through college as a physical therapy aide in a neurologic and post-acute rehabilitation hospital in Santa Rosa; later taking on jobs as a student worker at California Children Services, Medical Therapy Unit and as a pediatric medical assistant in Southern California. In 1990, I received my degree in Health Education and entered the world of early intervention. Here I have stayed for 25 years, expanding my role into the program manager for our Watch Me Grow program and our High-Risk Infant Follow-up program. When not at work, I spend my time with my husband of 21 years and our three wonderful daughters. As a family, we enjoy sports, hiking and kayaking.

I have been working at ELI since June of 2015. I am a part of the Administration team as well as the Data Entry Specialist for Watch Me Grow, and Early Intervention. I am also a full time student at the Santa Rosa Junior College majoring in International Relations. I am currently finishing up my last year there before possibly transferring.

In 2013, Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in hand, I was lucky enough to find ELI! Since then I have learned so much about the amazing services and support available to Sonoma County families and children. As a screener for the Watch Me Grow Program I get to network with professionals and passionate folks, finding ways to nurture the development of little one’s minds and bodies.
