If you or a parent have concerns about a very young child’s development (birth–36 months). Contact the Early Start program of North Bay Regional Center. Free assessment and services available.

- Special Education Preschool Services (Formerly under the umbrella of SELPA then SCOE). If you or a parent have developmental concerns about a preschool age child (age 3–5 before Kindergarten). Parents can contact the child’s local elementary school and request a screening.

The California Childcare Health Program is available to take phone calls from providers regarding issues of health and safety. They also have a great website with lots of great parent and professional handouts and links to other websites.
