There are Many Ways to Support Us!

Every family looks forward to seeing their child’s first smile, first step, and first words. And every family worries, at least a little, about all these things happening as they should, when they should. For nearly 25 years, families with questions have turned to The Early Learning Institute for help. Now it’s our turn to ask for your help.

The past few years have not been easy on any of us, especially the children. Here at ELI we’ve done our best to keep going… but everyday it gets harder. As a 501 c3 Non-Profit, ELI relies on the generosity of those in our community to continue our mission of providing desperately-needed services to struggling families. Sadly, without your financial support, there is a very real chance that many of our services will no longer be available.

Please consider support us in the following ways:

You Can Make A Difference For The Children of Sonoma County. It Just Takes Time….Your Time. Consider Joining the ELI Board!

Board leadership and participation are essential to the success of the Early Learning Institute. Board members are the primary champions and supporters for all aspects of the organization including –making policies, program suggestions and designs, marketing strategies and fund-raising. And, perhaps most importantly, Board members look beyond the busy day-to-day tasks of running the Institute to provide long-term guidance towards fulfilling the Institute’s mission.

ELI needs new Board members! As we enter another year of service to Sonoma County, we face new challenges and new opportunities in these tumultuous economic times. Fresh eyes often see things from different perspectives and add new dimensions to ongoing discussions. Help us help the clients we serve.

The Early Learning Institute was founded on the philosophy that the first 5 years of life constitute a critical learning period, both for children and those who are caring for them. It is during this time that a child’s potential for growth in the cognitive, physical and social-emotional realms of development can be profoundly influenced by the coordinated efforts of professionals and family members and/or caregivers. It is also a critical time in the growth and development of the family unit. Support and education are often needed to foster positive relationships and optimal development for all children. This is especially true for childcare providers and families dealing with the unexpected stresses of a child who is experiencing developmental delays, behavioral issues or other struggles.

ELI provides a variety of programs to meet many different needs –Most are free to families. For more information about joining the ELI Board, email Michele Rogers, Executive Director (MicheleR@earlylearninginstitute.com) or fax back your application.
